After many years of hiring contractors and handy people or waiting for my husband who traveled extensively to do all the everyday jobs around the house I began to learn to do them myself. I did everything from change a faucet to fixing holes in the wall. I then moved on to changing the walls and fixtures. My husband would tell friends that he never worried about the furniture being moved around, but that he never knew where the walls would be. I eventually built a house. Friends and neighbors began to ask me to do jobs around their houses and businesses, especially the small everyday maintenance and repair jobs, the stuff that didn’t take a specialist to do, but just a smart and flexible handyperson.

I saw a need for fast, reliable service for all the small everyday jobs and decided to start Handi-Helpers, a business offering a fast and reliable service where the handy person shows up when they say they will and for lower prices than I had to pay.
